Jet-setting somewhere fun for Memorial day this year? Just
looking to stay comfy on your next business trip? There is an art to staying
fashionable yet comfy while traveling, and here’s how it’s done!
For starters, it’s all about the choosing clothes with the
right fabric. Tight, constricting jeans will leave you feeling uncomfortable
and antsy, especially if you’re stuck in the middle seat on a long airplane
ride. For maximum comfort, try a looser fitting pair of boyfriend jeans or slacks
to ensure a more pleasant travel experience.
Another pro tip is to always remember to bring a sweater.
Because airplanes have pretty drastic temperature changes, it’s always best to
have that sweater for a little extra warmth when needed. Make sure it’s
lightweight and easy to carry-on. Think cashmere over chunky-knit.
Now this one might be a no-brainer, but wear comfortable
shoes that are easy to take on and off. No one likes that person who holds up
the security line because they are taking forever to take their shoes off! Go
for ballet flats or sandals; both are easy to slip on and off.
Finally, choose one fashion piece to tie your look together.
Maybe it’s a fedora hat that dresses up your pair of black leggings, or maybe
it’s a statement necklace that jazzes up your basic sundress (just make sure
the necklace isn’t made of metal!) Whatever it is, stay stylish with your
favorite accessory, and show your fellow travelers that you CAN be well
dressed while traveling.
